Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.
                                                   Helen Keller

Afterglow:
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun.
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

This memorial site was created to honor my wife, my lover, my best friend, my partner in everything and my soul mate Mary Ellen Sanchez Sipos.  She passed away suddenly and very unexpectedly on December 03, 2004 at the age of 51. She was a beautiful and loving wife and mother, a loving caring daughter and sister and a friend to many. Hundreds of people came to pay their respects. She never realized how many people she touched in her life. I continue to miss her every day and will love her forever. She will always be part of my life and the life of our daughter and we will never forget her!

A Tree in  Mary Ellen's Honor!

On March 15th, 2006, the Tenants Organization honored Mary Ellen by planting a tree in her honor in the new garden area between the buildings where she worked for the last 25 years. A plaque provided by the Tenants commemorates the tree in her honor. As the first signs of spring arrive, the flowering plum tree is beginning to bloom as a reminder of Mary Ellen's love and spirit.

Another Tree in Mary Ellen's Honor
In another touching tribute to Mary Ellen's memory, the Charles Kline Lodge #916 in Allentown, PA had a tree planted in her name in the Lahay Forest in Israel. Alyssa, myself and her entire family are very grateful for this very thoughtful gesture.

Dedication in Mary Ellen's Memory

On Sunday, December 4th, 2005, the Board of Directors of the apartment buildings where Mary Ellen worked for 25 years honored her by dedicating the sun porch, a beautiful, bright, airy space in her memory. Several hundred people attended the dedication in what turned out to be a standing room only event. A picture of the dedication plaque is now part of the photo album.

FOOD BANK DONATIONS

Since one of Mary Ellen's interest was raising money for the food banks, I thought it appropriate that donations made in her honor at her funeral be made to the local food banks. There was over $2200.00 donated to the food banks in memory of Mary Ellen! Every dollar raised buys 20 pounds of food for needy families. What a wonderful tribute! Thank you to everyone.

Please add a tribute or condolence or just light a candle for Mary Ellen with a simple thought. It is very easy to do.  Please come back to visit often.
Join me in honoring this very special lady who I was fortunate enough to share a my life with, but unfortunately for too short a time.

This site will remain active forever!
